Description
These are hard to find now as they get brittle from the dashboard getting so much sun hitting it for years and years. My design mounts the same way as stock, it slides in and snaps. I took a different approach to the rest of the design though. Rather than relying on complex angular shapes and little metal reflectors, I simply made mine round. I have tested it in my van using an LED bulb and I am happy with the performance.
To keep things simple I did not include the little prongs to hold the flexible circuit board. I have found that it is easy enough to just hold it in place while inserting the bulb. It’s not something that is removed very often so I think this is acceptable.
