Description
A retaining strap made for strong 3D printed Nylon (color may vary) featuring a unique locking system (See below).
Note: this strap is longer than the stock strap to allow better access to the glovebox, therefore it is NOT compatible for use with the stock left side strap. I’ve been using just this longer right side strap for 3 years now with zero issues. ;-)
Installation instructions:
Simply insert the skinny side down then twist 90 degrees to lock in place.

check your glove box style before ordering. I have the “two hooks” style (1987 Vanagon) that retains the box opening width and I would have to cut off the original plastic hooks to use the extra opening capacity of the strap replacement.

Missing your glove box strap? This fits perfectly, and is very durable. I have a fire extinguisher, a spot light, and flashing roof light in my glove box. This can take some decent abuse.
