Description
The PowerPod® MaplightPod replaces the stock maplight in the Vanagon dashboard on the passenger side. Choice of three styles, one has a white or red LED, the next has a simple USB Extension cable (that you would plug into the back of your stereo) and the last has a powered USB. All styles have a convenient switch as well. This custom designed 3D printed pod is made from durable ABS plastic.
**Please note that the brown option is NOT a match for the VW brown interior.

Appears solid and well-made. I would give another star if the instructions consisted of more than just an electrical diagram and were oriented towards a novice like me. Since this is a swap out item, I had hoped for color or labeled photos showing how to tie into the map light’s factory wiring. An inline fuse is recommended and it would be great if one were included or prewired. I am also left to guess what size fuse to use–which may be obvious for the experienced folks.

I was very happy with the products, as described. all I had to do was to connect the black wire of the LED light to the vehicles brown wire and connect the each Reds to each side of the switch Prong.

This should come with pre made jumper wires since I would thin all van with dashboard lights are wired the same.
