Description
I designed this to use in my Boxster as I like magnetic phone mounts to hold my phone.
It is stupid simple to install, peel the backing off the supplied 3M double stick tape. Slide in between the dashboard and instrument cluster. Push firmly back so that the tape sticks. Reference approximate position for the mount in the photo above.
Includes the 3D printed mount (Made from high quality 3D printed ABS plastic), adjustable metal magnetic base and metal plates for your phone.
And now, Magsafe (non-charging) version is available!! ;-)

Three suggestions,
1: the sticky stuff that is to hold to dash needs to be a bit thicker. I cannot get it to adhere but I have lots of double sided adhesives that I can add to make it work.
2: instructions on how far left from right edge of arc to position would be helpful. I had to try it three times before I found a placement that best held phone so that bottom of phone gently rests on lower dash to stop it from giggling while car is going down road.
3: better description as to the kit including two metal pieces that mount to back of phone. I love that they are included but since I did not see them in the description I bought a pack of four off of Amazon so both my wife and I would have for our cases. This only cost me $6 bucks, but hey, if I had known they were included I could have bought my wife a Starbucks small coffee.
All that said, the product itself is wonderful! That is why I gave a 5 star review. Two of the above items can be fixed in minutes by uniWorks Design by updating website description and/or addition of info on provided install card that came with device. The product looks and feels really solid. The magnet is very strong yet covered in a velvety soft rubber material that will keep connection area from rubbing off and looking worn. Great execution.
Oh, and it came very, very quickly! Just a couple days to get to Oklahoma. Yes, good things can come from Oklahoma too. Take my wife for example. Well, take her as an example, don’t actually take her. I really, really like her.

I like the design and am happy with the product. Good support from business owner too. I’m removing it when not using so cannot comment on the glue issue others mention. That said, the tape doesn’t seem super sticky.

This mount did not fit my 2003 Porsche 911, even though the description for the item stated that it fits a 996. The base of the mount was too long and doesn’t allow you to insert all the way into the car’s cluster assembly for the 3M tape on the mount to make contact. Another reviewer had mentioned the same feedback but I thought seller would have updated the design since then. Nope. Buyers beware – if you buy this for your 996 and it doesn’t fit, you have pay for the return shipping and a 15% restocking fee. If I could do this all over again, I would have just bought the mount from Rennline or Proclip USA.

I have only had 2 instances of a customer stating that the product did not fit. This is after selling around 100 of these so it sounds like an anomaly. I did not charge you a restocking fee, no worries. ;-)

Great product! I was hesitant with some of the reviews about fit but, with a little upward pressure, the mount slips right in and works great!
