1. Lower spare tire clam shell (19mm) and remove spare tire
2. Remove the (4) 10mm nuts holding the lower shifter box in place
3. Remove the lower shifter box
4. Using a 13mm and a 10mm wrench disconnect the linkage rod from the shifter.
