RetroPod™ – Forward

Description

The vintage series GaugePod™ is devoted to a simple design philosophy, much like the Vanagon: flat surfaces. All in the series feature sharp lines and functionality. The switches actuate with a satisfying “click” and produce a soft, warm red glow.

This this gauge pod features a spot for a 52mm gauge (not included) prominently showing right in the center. On each flank is a pushbutton switch (wire them to whatever you want). Just below the 52mm gauge is a handy bubble level so you can easily check side to side leveling when you are finding that right spot to camp.

The unit’s case is made from high quality ABS plastic just like a modern car interior. Standard colors are black and brown, custom colors are also available. Note: none of my colors are a match for factory VW colored plastic.

The mechanical switches are UL listed and IP65 rated. Operation: Latching Type,Push & Hold, ON; Push & Hold Again, OFF. Contact:SPDT, 1NO 1NC . Mechanical life: 1,000,000 cycles, Electrical life: 100,000 cycles.
