Upperbunk 3 Switch PowerPod® DIMMING LightPod

Description

Switchable USB and LED light accessible from the top bunk!

This replaces one the A/C vent right above the slider giving you DIMMING LED area lights for the lower passenger area!!!! Aailable with your choice of LEDs: 2 White or 2 Red.

**Please note that the brown option is NOT a match for the VW brown interior.

Please note:

• USE A PROPERLY SIZED FUSE (NOT SUPPLIED) WHEN INSTALLING!
• Components are supplied by various manufacturers.
• This custom-made product is exempt from the right of withdrawal in the EU.

Dimmer Switch Wiring Guide

BK = 12V-

RD = 12v +

RD = LED +

YL = LED –

General Install Instructions:

• I ran a new fused power wire from the Aux battery up the B Pillar.
• Unscrew the fasteners holding up the headliner.
• Run wire across and tuck inside the headliner and into the vent channel above the slider.
• Remove stock vent above slider.
• Install a ground screw at a spot close to the Upper Bunk PowerPod®.
• Connect wiring as per the basic schematic above. (Wiring is really up to you, it depends on how you’d like it to operate.)
• Test the unit to make sure that it functions as you intend.
• Reinstall all of the screws that you removed.
