Description
I came up with some mounts for speedhut that insert into the stock Vanagon instrument Cluster Surround. It’s slick and a cost effective way to replace the factory instrumentation with modern components. This is the DIY version for this upgrade, you will receive the inserts and it’s up to you to make them work for your application. You WILL need to modify the cluster surround in such a manor that putting stock Vanagon gauges back in may not be possible. Buyer beware! That being said, with the beautiful new Speedhut gauges in there, why would you ever go back?!?!

*NOTE: I did notice that the stock instrument cluster surround had warped slightly. So while my inserts are identical mirror images of each other, one side needed to be filed down in a few areas for a perfect fit.
*For full disclosure, these were not tested with gauges installed and illuminated at night. Some say with the gauges being so much closer there will be reflections on the windows of your van. I have no idea if this is true.
